The Problem

During a regular spill kit audit, at the NZ Agritrade Distribution Centre, it was discovered that several spill kits needed restocking. As the Distribution Centre is a high-risk environment the team are safety sensitive, and audits are vital to ensuring spill kits are stocked, and action ready, in the case of a hazardous substance spill.

The Solution

Nathan Dargan, Distribution Manager for NZ Agritrade, runs an organised centre, “We have a spill kit audit checklist; hence we knew exactly what to order.”

After the checklist was completed, and the list of items to restock was generated, Nathan contacted Hazero to place an order.

The Outcome

The order arrived in a timely manner and was placed into the right spill kits on site. The spill kit audit was then completed and the site was back to being a safe working environment.
